This position leads a team of site HR professionals.Lead the HR function at the local siteManage local staffing and recruiting processManage local headcount reportsProcesses Unemployment ClaimsCoordinates all recruitment-related activities including but not limited to; posting/communicating open positions screening candidates conducting interviews updating job descriptions etc.Conducts new-hire orientationProcess background checks and pre-employment requirementsCompletes employment verification requestsMaintains employee personnel filesServes as a member of the Safety CommitteeAssists with Employee Relations issuesCompiles data and publishes related reports including turnover absenteeism head count vacation etc.Ensures legal compliance EEO AAP FLSA etc.QualificationsBachelors Degree preferably in Human Resources or a combination of education and 5- 7 years of work-related experience requiredHRCI or SHRM Certification preferredExperience with Kronos ADP or similar HRIS and Applicant Tracking SystemsProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)Strong verbal and written communication skillsTeam player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with hourly employees management and peersMust possess a high degree of professionalism in handling confidential informationAbility to work flexible hours including weekends when requiredExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredStrong analytical organizational and auditing skills requiredRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Employee Relations,Succession Planning,Employee Evaluation,Human Resources Management,Lean,Lean Management,Benefits Administration,HRIS,Payroll,Employment & Labor Law,Human Resources,Manufacturing Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
