Job Description

Position: Human Resources ManagerReports to: Head of HR and Project ExecutiveLocation: Fort Wayne IndianaPay Range: $90000 - $110000We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.Superior is looking for a Human Resources Manager to help lead a broad range of HR initiatives including employee relations and new employee onboarding. This position is based on a jobsite in Fort Wayne Indiana with travel to other Indiana jobsites as needed to provide support and oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for human resources issues in a fast-paced environmentManage all aspects of employee relations for a large-scale workforceHelp new employees become Day 1 ready by driving HR onboarding action items and coordinationRun pre-employment checks including background screenings and verificationsPerform data entry and maintain accurate records to support fieldEnsure compliance with labor laws regulations and company policies at the jobsite level in IndianaSupport workers compensation administrationAssist Safety and Field Leaders with safety reportingMaintains oversight of HR documentation and compliance trackingPrepare reports and provide general administrative support to the project leadersYour Character TraitsYoure passionate about people and motivating others around youYou have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsYoure able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with data and sensitive informationYoure organized great at prioritization and have a strong attention to detailYoure a team player and feel comfortable collaborating with colleagues across all levels of the organizationYour ExpertiseRequired: You have at least 5 years of experience in HR management and complianceBonus Points: You have earned your Bachelors degree in human resources business administration or a related fieldBonus Points: You have experience with OSHA requirements investigations and/or labor relations under a collective bargaining agreementOur BenefitsWe offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
