Position Title: Human Resources Representative (3002)

Salary: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 Salary/year

Position type: Full Time

Position Summary:

The HR Representative supports recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, training coordination, HR compliance, and HRIS administration for the Taft location. This role helps create a positive employee experience while supporting compliance, data accuracy, and workforce development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruiting and onboarding processes, including interview scheduling, orientation coordination, I-9 completion, and E-Verify compliance.

  • Conduct onboarding sessions and support new hire integration activities.

  • Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, and communication programs.

  • Assist in facilitating training sessions related to leadership development, compliance, onboarding, and company initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate HRIS and employee data within Paycom and other systems.

  • Support I-9 compliance efforts, audit readiness, and documentation corrections.

  • Assist with HR reporting and tracking metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and compliance status.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, Illinois, and company employment requirements.

  • Support communication and rollout of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.

  • Partner with leaders and HR team members to support workforce initiatives and employee development.

  • Participate in cross-training and provide backup support across HR functions as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of HR, recruiting, training, or employee engagement experience preferred.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

  • Experience in manufacturing or union environments preferred.

  • Knowledge of onboarding, I-9 compliance, HRIS systems, and employee engagement practices.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Paycom preferred.
