This exciting role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment, where you will be a key contributor to the success of our HR department and the overall organization. Responsibilities: As a Consulting Copy of Human Resources Representative, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and handling administrative tasks. Assisting with the preparation and tracking of expenses. Utilizing your expertise in MS Office Suite, PeopleSoft, Service Now, Visual Vault, and HR Web applications to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Interacting effectively and diplomatically with faculty, staff, administrators, and co-workers. Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Staying current with University systems, regulations, policies, and procedures. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role will have: One (1) to three (3) years of proven customer service experience working in an internal HR, WFA, or benefits environment as a subject matter expert in one functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a complex higher education or hospital HR environment, preferably with UC experience. Exceptional writing skills to clearly, concisely, and logically articulate ideas, using appropriate editorial style and grammatically correct language. Interpersonal skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with a diverse audience. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities. Impeccable attention to detail and thoroughness in work product. Ability to maintain composure and productivity despite pressing deadlines, frequent interruptions, distractions, and competing priorities. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time; frequent use of fine motor skills, mainly computer keyboard; occasional lifting of up to 25lb. Knowledge of UC personnel and payroll policies and procedures. A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
