Human Resources Specialist at Aston Carter
JOB DESCRIPTION
People & Talent Specialist Full-Time, Onsite
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team and support the transition and ongoing management of key people-operations processes. This role begins with a strong focus on migrating documents and data from PayCom to UKG, and will expand into a broader position covering payroll support, applicant tracking, compliance, and employee support functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of employee documents and HR data from PayCom to UKG, including personnel files, garnishments, tax statements, compliance documents, benefits information, and payroll data.
- Ensure accurate, careful, and confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Support daily people-operations activities, including:
- Payroll assistance
- Phone screens
- Benefits administration
- Garnishment processing
- Compliance tasks
- Applicant tracking and onboarding support
- Perform additional people-operations duties as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- UKG experience is required; prior UKG implementation experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related HR or people-operations role (Specialist, Coordinator, Recruiter, etc.).

Work Environment
- Fully onsite during core business hours, with occasional flexibility for remote work if needed.
- Modern office featuring accessible parking and a large community kitchen for employee use.
- Please note: The 280 highway will be under construction this summer, which may impact commute routes.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.00/hr.
