Job Title: HR SpecialistLocation: Houston TXJob Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: $75000 - $85000Position SummaryiEducate is seeking an HR Specialist to oversee the onboarding offboarding and HR operations for tutors and staff ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.Key Responsibilities:Manage onboarding for tutors and staff ensuring completion of background checks I-9s and compliance requirements.Support HR operations including recruitment personnel management benefits and performance management.Oversee tutor HR processes including performance management policy updates and handling complaints.Manage relationship with district partners to ensure tutors successfully complete all district compliance onboarding requirements including background checksConduct exit interviews and oversee offboarding processes.Maintain HR documentation and support staff with policy-related inquiries.Support whole organization compliance and culture initiativesPerform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education experience and/or HR certification.SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred3-7 years of relevant Human Resources experienceExperience in HR operations compliance or employee relations.Strong organizational and communication skills.Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders alongside excellent communication skills for resolving issues.
