Join the East End's best plumbing, heating, and HVAC team - specializing in both new construction and service!Mulco Inc. is a diverse and stable 50-year-old full service residential/commercial plumbing, heating & HVAC company comprised of over 40 employees. We are looking to add an experienced HVAC Drafter with mechanical design and HVAC experience to our team. The company is seeking candidates that are looking for a workplace in which to grow and prosper.The HVAC Drafter plays a critical role in supporting the design, engineering, and execution of HVAC and plumbing projects. This position is responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining accurate technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to ensure that field teams and project managers have the resources needed for successful project delivery. Drafting & Documentation Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings, riser diagrams, floor plans, and detail sheets for HVAC systems. Produce clear, accurate, and compliant as-built drawings at project completion. Project Support Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to translate design concepts and field markups into precise drawings. Ensure that drafting deliverables align with client requirements, codes, and industry standards. Coordination & Communication Interface with internal teams (sales, estimating, operations, and field staff) to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency. Assist in preparing drawing packages for client submittals and permit applications. Quality Control Review and verify design documents for accuracy and completeness. Track and implement revisions based on redlines, and field feedback. Desired Skills and Experience 3+ years' experience drafting HVAC duct systems Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering technology or related field (preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD Strong understanding of building construction documents, HVAC, plumbing and industry symbols/standards. Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and writing skillsSalary to commensurate with experience.
