BROAD also specializes in Air Purification, Filtration and Ventilation (ERV) systems.About the role:We are seeking an HVAC Field Service Technician to service HVAC equipment and systems for maintaining cooling, heating, and ventilation to buildings and facilities throughout but not limited to the New York Tri-State area.Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repair for HVAC systemProvide technical support for new chiller installation, startup and commissioningDemonstrate and train customers how to use their system properlyCreate and build strong relationships with customers, provide remarkable service, and surpass customers expectationsCommunicating with customers and managers regarding service findings is essential, ensuring customer satisfaction.Keep track of service callsRepresent the company by serving as the direct customer contact for our products and equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customers location.Display team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight workKeep the management team in loop about customers satisfaction, any potential sales opportunities and any recurring problemsOther tasks as assignedPossess and respect a safety-first attitudeQualifications:US work authorizationA High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and typically 2 plus years of experience in HVAC. Technical School or formal training is preferred.This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders. It requires employees to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.This role may involve exposure to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on locationStrong organizational skills, positive attitude and an ability to learn and grow quicklyMust be capable of working independently or in a teamConfident, articulate and professional speaking abilities.Ability to travel and work overtime/weekend as neededAbility to review plans, diagrams and flow chartsDemonstrate a high level of trouble shooting skills, critical thinking and problem solving skillsA general knowledge of electronics is requiredValid drivers license and clean DMV recordStrong knowledge of relative safety standard/good practice and willingness to use PPEEPA certification and OSHA certification preferredCompensation:Competitive salaryMedical/dental/vision insuranceRetirement planBROAD U.S.A. is an equal opportunity employer
