The HVAC Installer/Service Technician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Working as part of a small team, this position involves local travel to client homes and requires proficiency in diagnostic tools and service software. The technician will handle a variety of tasks including air duct cleaning and preventative maintenance while maintaining strict safety standards and clear communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems according to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC units
• Troubleshoot system issues using standard diagnostic tools
• Conduct air duct cleaning to improve system efficiency
• Document work accurately using mobile service software apps including ServiceTitan
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service
• Replace parts and perform preventative maintenance to reduce future issues

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and service
• Service and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
