HVAC Lead Installer at Neese Heating, Air & Plumbing

Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Installation Technician to join our installation team. This role is ideal for technicians who are confident running installs handling commissioning mentoring others and taking full responsibility for job outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform full system change-outs (AC heat pumps furnaces IAQ systems zoning dual-fuel and multi-split systems).Lead commissioning: airflow verification charging combustion safety electrical/mechanical checks and documentation.Mentor apprentices and journeymen in brazing wiring documentation and pacing.Plan jobs by reviewing packets coordinating with warehouse/office and ensuring all materials are on site.Lead a crew of 12 assign tasks and maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness.Complete all required commissioning forms photos and ServiceTitan documentation.Communicate clearly with homeowners during handoff and ensure customer satisfaction.Collaborate directly with the Retro/Install Manager to report progress issues and improvement opportunities.RequirementsExperience: 25 years of residential/light commercial HVAC installation experience.Certifications: EPA 608 required; OSHA-10 (minimum) OSHA-30 preferred; NATE certification a plus.Skills: Strong brazing wiring ductwork and commissioning skills. Ability to train and mentor junior installers.Tools/Technology: Proficiency with iPad-based field software (ServiceTitan experience preferred).Other: Valid drivers license with clean record; ability to work MondayFriday 7:30 AM until jobs are complete with occasional Saturdays during peak demand.Why Join NeeseAt Neese youre more than just a numberyoure part of the family.
