HVAC Service Manager at 360 Heating and Cooling
JOB DESCRIPTION
About 360 Heating and Cooling LLC

As a growing company, we are seeking leadership that will help strengthen our service department, support technicians, and ensure operational excellence.
Position Overview
The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department. This includes managing technicians, scheduling service calls, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining safety compliance, and driving department profitability. This is a working technician position that will require some field work as needed. Customer Management Software knowledge is required.
The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC professional with strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise, mentor, and support HVAC service technicians
Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing training
Assist in hiring and onboarding new technicians
Maintain positive team morale and accountability
Operations Management
Oversee scheduling and dispatch of service calls
Ensure timely and efficient completion of jobs
Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction
Review completed work orders for accuracy and profitability
Manage inventory, parts ordering, and vendor relationships
Technical Oversight
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians
Ensure compliance with HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards
Maintain proper handling of refrigerants and EPA compliance
Some field work may be required
Customer & Business Development
Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally
Support sales efforts through service recommendations and system upgrades
Track KPIs such as revenue, call-back rates, and technician productivity
Develop strategies to improve service department growth and efficiency
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years HVAC experience (residential and commercial preferred)
2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred
EPA Section 608 Certification
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Proven leadership and team-building skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
