The HVAC Service Technician will provide expert maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial HVAC systems. Working as an individual contributor, the technician will ensure systems operate efficiently and safely while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves using standard hand tools along with advanced diagnostic equipment and software for scheduling and reporting, with local travel required to service customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot system issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Conduct system testing to verify performance and safety compliance
• Provide high-quality customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Replace parts and components as necessary
• Document all service activities accurately using scheduling and reporting software
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Carry out preventive maintenance to extend system lifespan

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC service
• Valid Drivers license
• EPA Section 608 Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC system diagnostics
• Knowledge of electrical systems and refrigeration cycle
• Strong customer communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with safety protocols
• Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
