HVAC Service Technician / Installer - Commercial and Residential
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This position will perform a combination of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on residential and light commercial systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and capable of working independently in the field.

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and components
- Diagnose electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and controls-related issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
- Install furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-splits, ductwork, thermostats, and related equipment
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Start-up and commission HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and project managers
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years HVAC field experience preferred
- Experience with both installation and service work
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- EPA Certification required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and mechanical rooms
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman HVAC License
- Experience with commercial rooftop units, split systems, boilers, or VRF systems
- Knowledge of controls and low-voltage systems
- Welding, brazing, or sheet metal experience
- NATE Certification
