HVAC Technician at Apes plumbing and heating

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in Sonoma, CA. In this role, you will diagnose, service, repair, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Because we cover both comfort and flow, experience or knowledge in plumbing is highly desirable and will make you a standout candidate for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
- Assist with plumbing tasks as needed, including leak repairs, pipe installations, and fixture troubleshooting (experience dependent).
- Provide exceptional customer service, clearly explaining technical issues and solutions to clients.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and keep accurate records of parts used and work performed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Plumbing experience or strong cross-training aptitude is a major plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills-must be comfortable and polite when working in clients' homes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Relevant certifications (EPA Universal, NATE, or trade school) are highly valued.
