HVAC Technician - JLLWhat this job involves:Operates inspects and maintains all HVAC refrigeration mechanical electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Assures that equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient safe manner and downtime is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs keeping records of past operating experiences. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas including walls and flooring installed fixtures roofing systems lighting etc. Strong focus on operating maintaining troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC/R systems. Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration and be multi skilled in electrical HVAC Piping/Plumbing and others in order to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.What your day-to-day will look like:Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical electrical and other installed systems equipment and other componentsMaintain operate and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment electrical distribution equipment plumbing systems building interior/exterior repair and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildingsPerform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operationsComplete all required safety training as scheduled and Hazard Assessments as necessaryUpdate work order status in real time utilizing CMMS systemPerform Vehicle Safety InspectionRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineeringUniversal EPA 608 CertificationStrong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R plumbing electrical repair and maintenanceKnowledge of overall system design and applicationsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsPhysical work requirements: Lifting up to 80 lbs. frequent climbing bending lifting kneeling stooping and working/extending overhead. Ability to work in adverse conditions (extreme cold extreme hot) and from heights up to 30 ft. with 300 lb. weight limit while carrying tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and CMMSTwo years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems refrigeration and HVACExperience with Building Management Systems (BMS) such as Siemens JCI Schneider HoneywellAvailability for call-in workLocation: Onsite - Portsmouth NHLocation:On-site Portsmouth NHIf this job description resonates with you we encourage you to apply even if you dont meet all the requirements.
