JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential HVAC Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential properties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has a strong technical background in HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using diagnostic tools and industry-standard techniques.
Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues and solutions to homeowners in a clear and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and inventory.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or apprenticeship in HVAC preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician in residential settings.
EPA 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, including electrical and refrigeration components.
Strong knowledge of HVAC safety standards and local codes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
NATE certification or other industry credentials are a plus.
