Job Purpose:Wind, Shape and Form a variety of Motor Coils, perform electrical tests (Insulation Resistance, Hi-Pot, Surge and Resistance Tests) and Mechanical Measurements as they relate to the differenttypes of motor coils.Duties and Responsibilities:• Capable of reading and understanding coil winding construction diagrams.• Knowledge of coil construction principles and materials to manufacturer’s specifications.• Able to identify insulating materials, understanding of coil wrapping, finishing requirements andacceptance criteria.• Operating principles and the use of the following equipment:• Coil winding machines (forms) with applicable tension attachments• Hydraulic presses and spreaders• Wire cutting/stripping machines• Soldering and brazing equipments• Specialized custom coil manufacturing equipment…For example: Armature coiljigs• Coil taping machines• Coil vulcanizing machine• Able to follow written and verbal operating instructions.• Understanding of Safety and ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System requirements.Qualifications and Requirements:• Education: Minimum requirements High School or Technical School.• Skills: Must have a Mechanical and or Electrical Aptitude.• Experience: Minimum one year in a related industry.recblid 691qdczov4whczha4tkm1g0weuffa1
