Position Summary Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels.Primary Duties Perform a wide variety of manufacturing tasks, including  filling and packaging equipment, assembly, refurbishment, and testing of electrical and mechanical components, ensuring compliance with quality standards.    Provide support for filling, packaging equipment & instrument manufacturing, assisting in improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.    Collaborate to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards    Maintain comprehensive documentation of engineering activities, including process improvements and repair activities, to support operational transparency.    Operate equipment repair and conditioning for medium-complexity product lines    Contribute in production data analyzis to identify trends and areas for improvement, preparing reports and presentations for management review.Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations.Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature. Assist in training of Technicians.  Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.    Performs other duties as assigned.    Qualification and ExperienceThis role requires a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and/or assembling electromechanical equipment, ideally medical devices or instruments.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFunctional skills including critical thinking, adaptability, time management, communication, problem-solving and digital literacy.Practicing time management to allocate tasks, balance priorities, and meet deadlines efficientlyDrive for Results: Drive for Results while successfully removing barriersAbility to cooperate with others at all levels including leadershipWritten Communications - including the ability to communicate technical data in written formMaintain composure by having the skill of staying calm, focused, and professional in high-pressure or stressful situations.Consistently uphold and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotesWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods. Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day. Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.The estimated salary range for this role is between $22.00 and $30.00. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living.
