If youre organized strategic and curious about how great events are planned and executed we want you as our IAP Hackathon Micro-Intern.Learn more about our IAP Hackathon here!Internship Term: January 12 to February 1 2026Commitment: Full-time or part-time; required availability during the weekend of January 30-February 1Location: Onsite in Somerville MA (in-person)What Youll Do:Act as the main point of contact for 50 hackathon participants; confirm BOM (bill of materials) details participant registration and waivers and any other pre-event logistics.Coordinate pre-event and day-of internal logistics with safety facilities and engineering teams at Formlabs.Place receive and organize supply orders for each team.Order catering and refreshments for Hackathon weekend.Assist with setup event flow and communication during Hackathon weekend (January 30-February 1)Contribute to other student-facing talent brand initiatives including our in-kind donations program and program communications.About You:Can work independently to manage multiple schedules and projects with a strong attention to detail.Excellent communicator; you can easily establish relationships are comfortable presenting in front of groups and can clearly communicate your ideas in writing across various audiences.Familiarity with event planning best practices SLA/SLS printing and/or hardware prototyping tools a plus but not required.Intern Benefits & Perks:Catered on-site lunches (3x per week) snacks beverages & treatsCohort-based social and professional development experience for internsMany opt-in culture events across our diverse communityAnd of course unlimited 3D printsWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
