identity and Access Management Systems Engineer at Quality Technology Services

The IAM Systems Engineer will be responsible for integrating various systems platforms and applications into a streamlined process in support of QTS Identity and Access Management Program. These workflows and associated orchestration will primarily be built within the ServiceNow platform. The purpose of this position is to drive security and automation around granting the correct access to the right people at the right time. This position will work as a part of a cross-functional team of IT engineers to provide enhanced visibility operational automations and stakeholder requested development. This is a fast-paced role where initiative and a desire to learn quickly and solve problems are vital to success.RESPONSIBILITIES other duties may be assigned.User Lifecycle Management: Processing account requests provisioning deprovisioning and modification of user accounts across various systems.Access Reviews and Audits: Performing basic reviews and audits of access rights to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving access-related issues and assisting with basic to complex IAM system troubleshooting.Documentation: Maintaining basic documentation of IAM processes and configurations.Collaboration: Working with IT and security teams as well as other cross functional teams to ensure smooth operation of IAM systems.IAM System Design & Implementation: Designing developing and implementing IAM solutions.Integrating IAM with Other Systems: Integrating IAM systems with applications and services.Custom Development: Developing custom scripts to automate IAM workflows.Security & Compliance: Ensuring IAM solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.Develop orchestrations automations and workflows in support of QTS Identity & Access Management ProgramDevelop workflows that meet business system and security requirementsDocument and train end users and management on the processDevelop automated workflows and service catalogs in ServiceNowIntegrate disparate platforms and systems & ensure successful interoperability; API development and integrationPartner with external vendors as needed to understand how to leverage their technologyLead effort to document workflows and best practicesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in a related field or equivalent professional experienceMinimum five years of progressive IT engineering experienceAt least moderate level familiarity and experience with PowerShell and PythonFamiliarity with designing building and using APIsExperience managing Windows and/or Linux serversExperience with both waterfall and agile development modelsGeneral understanding of networking and firewallsFamiliarity with ServiceNow ITSM modules and Flow DesignerExperience managing objects in both on-premise Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExpertise around developing with ServiceNow (admin or development experience highly preferred)Experience working in a data-center environment or organizationExperience working with secret/credential management (e.g. Cyberark)KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced team environmentExcellent communication skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to technical & nontechnical audiencesUnique ability to understand the nuances of a problem and create a way forward that meets the higher level business objectiveFast-learner results driven and team playerTOTAL REWARDSThis role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical dental vision life and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending and HSA accounts; paid holidays; paid time off; paid volunteer days; employee assistance program; tuition assistance; parental leave; military leave assistance; QTS scholarship for dependents; wellness program and other company benefits.This position is bonus eligible.We conform to all the laws statutes and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
