Morgan Stanley Derivatives Clearing Strategy & Product VP/EDAs a part of Prime Brokerage Morgan Stanleys industry-leading Derivatives Clearing team manages the clearing of Futures Options and Over-the-Counter (OTC) Swaps at Clearing Houses globally. Derivatives Clearing services are utilized by a variety of institutional client types leveraging both speculative and hedging strategies across a wide range of asset classes including equities fixed income FX and commodities. Our team works directly with clients to ensure an optimal client experience and product offering providing clients with access to the markets and information necessary to further enhance their portfolios. The qualified candidate will be working closely with a team of professionals in the business unit on day-to-day strategy and product management. Candidate will participate in project work to analyze client and industry trends enhance daily processes and support a variety of strategic initiatives.Principal Duties:Drive strategic initiatives to improve the business with focus on global consistencyOversee projects to ensure Derivatives Clearing product offering remains competitiveRepresent the Business Unit on regulatory changes and system improvementsManage relationships with third parties including exchanges clearing houses and vendorsEducation / Experience:Undergraduate degreeAdvanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on ExcelPrior clearing experience requiredSkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detailAbility to manage several projects simultaneously and present updates to senior stakeholdersQuantitative analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong team-player and collaborator enthusiastic motivatedAbility to work autonomously; self-starterWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
