ILUS Sr. Project Engineer II at Daifuku

OverviewCandidatewillbe responsible for engineering of material handling systems. Each system is custom designed per client based on the optimal solution. This requires a team effort of mechanical engineering electrical engineering industrial engineering controls software and project management. The team will develop and implement a design concept that satisfies the customers requirement for safety functionality reliability throughput and expense.ResponsibilitiesDesigning/enhancing conveyor systems as well as various automated and semi-automated material handling systems; may lead on larger projects or an entire projectprogramReview of product design for compliance with engineering principles company standards and customer requirements and specificationsCoordinates activities concerned with technical developments scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problemsPrepares/Reviews approval permit and installation drawings using AutoCADObtains material and product quotes from vendors and issuespurchaseordersHelpsmonitorthe project schedule engineering time and material costsWorks with other disciplines on the project team to make sure the engineered solution and all equipment fit within system confines and constraintsTravels up to 20% to measure buildings inventory equipment commission systems and interface with customersParticipates in continuous improvement projectsResolves engineering issues by working with customersvendorsand other team membersQualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline preferably Mechanical or Industrial orequivalentexperienceMinimum of8years of material handling related experienceKnowledgeSkillsand Abilities Requirements:AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksproficiencyMicrosoft Office skills Word Excel Power Point and Project.Ability to lead multiple teams andaccomplishproject goals effectivelyAbility to handle multiple project assignments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced results-oriented environmentIn-depth knowledge of the material handling businessAbility tointerface effectively withinternal and external customers vendors consulting engineers architects and installersStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving skillsTeam-oriented and collaborativeSelf-motivated and detail-orientedAbility to learnnew technologyMust be able to speakreadand understand the English languageEOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/VeteransFederal ContractorIf you need assistance applying to an open position online please email Job Posting Min SalaryUSD $80000.00Job Posting Max SalaryUSD $127000.00Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Primavera,Microstation,Bluebeam,Construction Estimating,Construction Experience,ProCore,Mechanical Engineering,Project Engineering,Project Management,Autocad,Project Management Software,Microsoft Project Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
