Responsibilities include leading ASRS Engineering Robotics Engineering Controls Engineering Structural Engineering and Mechanical Systems Engineering. The priorities for this position include strategic planning project design quality assurance and problem resolution. Executes project design to meet company objectives partners with management and develops systems and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards.ResponsibilitiesEnsures alignment of Daifuku Intralogistics Projects engineering activities with the overall Daifuku Intralogistics strategyDevelops goals and metrics to drive execution of strategic initiatives for the Daifuku Intralogistics Project Execution TeamProvides effective leadership to management and staff of the engineering teamsCoaches and mentors staff to optimize performance engagement professional development and quality of work experienceProvides hands-on oversight of projects and services to ensure timely execution follow-up and closure of issuesProvides strategic hiring plans and assists in the execution of hiring quality individuals for the engineering teamsReports regularly on strategies and goals and key business metrics to Daifuku Intralogistics business leadership and peersProactively identifies emerging solutions to support business growth and business excellence throughout Daifuku IntralogisticsRegularly interacts with engineering operational and project management managers and supervisors to stay informed of all operational aspectsInitiates and sponsors the development and implementation of quality improvement projects that improve operational cost efficiency employee productivity and level of customer serviceManages vendor relationships to ensure successful projects return on investment and new business opportunitiesComplies with the Daifuku Intralogisticss policies and procedures for protecting internal and customer information and the confidentiality of information in accordance with signed confidentiality agreements and federal and state regulationsSupports sales and PM by engaging with key clients on technical and system performance strategies and concernsCollaborate with Daifuku Global teams on North American compliance features and requirements for global productsManage and align resources to support escalations for both active projects and existing systemsTravel up to 30%QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering or related subject or equivalent; Masters degree a plusMinimum of 15 years of experience in managing engineering large project portfolios and diverse and large technical skills groupsMinimum of 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in engineering technology development and project managementStrong operational background and proven track record of accomplishments in a manufacturing engineering or construction environmentExperience working in an organization with complex infrastructure applications and procedures in a cross-functional team environmentRequired Experience:Exec Key Skills React Native,AI,Enterprise Software,React,Node.js,Redis,AWS,Software Development,IOS,Team Management,Product Development,Mobile Applications Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
