Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility OfFurther Extension) Company Benefits: Medical, Dental,Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K Job Description:The Translational Safety, Pathology teamprovides pre-clinical pathology assessments of risk. Within this group, theDigital Pathology team focuses on revolutionizing the analysis of digitalhistopathology slides by leveraging computational methods to enhancepathological evaluations traditionally performed solely by humans. Ourobjective is to integrate cutting-edge digital and computational techniquesinto pathology workflows and develop computational tools to supportpathologist-driven identification and interpretation of findings. Contributingto the development and application of image-processing methods and pipelinesusing both conventional techniques and advanced techniques, such as machinelearning and deep learning. The successful candidate should be proficient withcommercially available image analysis software and able to perform basicstatistical analyses and data visualizations. Ideally, the candidate will alsocontribute to the development and implementation of new AI-powered imageanalysis algorithms and should have programming expertise, particularly inPython. The role requires close collaboration with pathologists to design andexecute image analysis workflows tailored to biological questions, as well asworking with computational and data scientists across various departments. Skills:Background and experience in computer scienceswith a strong interest in biomedical sciences.Proficient programming skills in Python,including standard packages for image segmentation and statistical analysis.Comfort with iterative design processes andopenness to frequent feedback.  If interested, please send us your updatedresume [email protected]/[email protected]
