Imaging Assistant, Part Time, Weekends at University of Maryland Medical System

SCHEDULE:Sat and Sunday DIC and MHE MRI JOB SUMMARY:Provides assistance to the clinical and clerical staff. Primarily responsible for assisting with  Radiology  procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:Prepares patients for Imaging procedures. Operates equipment tables and gantries. Prepares patients for scanning.Transports patients for all Radiology modalities as needed.Schedules patients for procedures.Maintains inventory of supplies.Ensures security in the receipt transport and/or storage of medications to include IV solutions.Responds to the following Shore Health System codes: Code Pink Code D Code U Code Red (in the immediate area).Responsible for honest behavior in all matters. To the best of the employees knowledge and understanding complies with all Federal and State laws and regulations.Performs job duties in a safety conscience manner.Maintains the privacy and security of all confidential and protected health information.
