Scientists with a research program focused on aging and extending the healthspan are particularly encouraged to apply. Specifically they will be expected to conduct collaborative extramurally funded translational research in an area related to healthy aging and extending addition the successful candidate is expected to make significant contributions to the veterinary curriculum and to mentor graduate students and/or postdoctoral trainees. Participation in departmental and university service and a commitment to fostering a collegial and supportive academic environment are expected.
