Implementation Specialist And Software Project Manager

As an Implementation Specialist and Software Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing software projects to deliver high-quality solutions to valued customers. You will collaborate with stakeholders such as customers, product managers and engineers to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the timely delivery of projects within scope. Your expertise in project management methodologies and best practices will be instrumental in driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team. You will report directly to our Senior Project Manager and you'll work out of our Fort Mill, SC location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software projects to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project charters.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices

You Must Have

  • 5 or more years of software project/program management experience.
  • Proven success delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience leading programs using Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans, drive accountability, and achieve business objectives.
  • Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Resilient with a strong commitment to overcoming challenges and delivering results
