Position - Implementation Specialist Job type - Fulltime Location - Dallas, TX 75240 (Work from Office) Role Summary We are seeking a client-facing Implementation Specialist who can understand how organizations operate and translate those business processes into successful software implementations. This role is responsible for leading the deployment and configuration of a SaaS platform used by municipalities, law enforcement agencies, and other public-sector organizations. The Implementation Specialist will work directly with external clients to understand their operational workflows, gather requirements, and configure the system to align with their business needs. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on experience implementing enterprise or SaaS applications. This individual should be comfortable working with clients, understanding operational challenges, and guiding them through a structured implementation process from discovery through go-live and adoption. This is not a software development role. However, a strong understanding of applications, data validation, and system behaviour is important for successful implementation. Key Responsibilities Client Discovery & Business Understanding Engage with external clients to understand their operational workflows, business processes, and system requirements • Conduct discovery sessions to document client processes and identify how the platform can support their operations • Translate business requirements into system configuration and implementation plans • Provide consultative guidance to clients on best practices and product capabilities Application Implementation & Configuration Lead end-to-end implementation of the SaaS platform from kickoff through go-live • Configure system workflows, user roles, and operational settings based on client requirements • Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously while maintaining structured timelines • Identify opportunities to streamline implementation processes and improve efficiency Client Onboarding & Adoption Guide clients through onboarding and ensure a smooth transition during system deployment • Conduct training sessions for client users and administrators • Develop documentation and implementation guides to support client adoption • Provide early-stage post-launch support to ensure system stability and successful usage Technical Coordination & Validation Support data mapping, system validation, and user acceptance testing during implementation • Assist in troubleshooting implementation issues and analyzing system behavior • Work closely with internal product or engineering teams to resolve client issues when needed • Utilize tools such as SQL or other data validation methods when investigating system or data-related questions Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience implementing enterprise applications or SaaS platforms for external clients • Strong ability to understand business operations and translate them into system configuration and workflows • Experience gathering client requirements and supporting application implementation projects • Client-facing experience working directly with business stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple implementations and maintain structured project timelines • Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing SaaS platforms for public-sector, municipal, or regulated organizations • Exposure to data validation, SQL, or user acceptance testing during system implementations • Familiarity with CRM systems, workflow platforms, or configurable enterprise applications • Experience supporting integrations, data migration, or system onboarding projects
