Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummary:Bonitz, Inc. is looking for a full time, commercial installer who has the capacity to lead and influence both internally and externally. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and sustain long-term relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, end users, and internal team members. This person is an expert at learning and understanding the industry and manages overall implementation of multiple projects, safely and with high quality.Overview:Founded in 1954, Bonitz, Inc. is an Employee-Owned Company operating as specialty trade commercial contractors servicing the construction industry. Bonitz designs and installs custom flooring, walls, ceilings, and cladding systems. We offer access, terrazzo and other specialty flooring as well as floor care. We are committed to providing best in class project consulting, project management, and craftsmanship while delivering superior service and practical solutions. Bonitz has divisions in SC, NC, GA, TN, VA, LA, and FL. Position Essential Duties:Load and unload of materialsInstallation of flooring, drywall, cladding systemsMaintaining equipment and tools. Job site clean- up.Complete pre-work for installation, may include leveling floor, floor removal, moving furniture, etc.Use common hand tool such as saws, finish nails, utility knives, etc.Installer’s will have to interact with customers in a friendly and polite mannerResponsible to properly handle company machinery and power tool’sInstallers will be responsible to review each work orderInstallers are responsible for each project they are working on and the quality of the work completedEducation/Experience and Ideal Candidate Qualifications:Excellent Verbal and Written Communication SkillsCritical Thinking, Time Management, Organization, Attention to DetailCommercial construction is required, flooring specific is preferredAbility to read blueprints and specsSafety Requirements:Safety Inspection(s) on all jobsiteEnsure that all safety training and certifications are up to date or scheduled.Stay compliant with all Bonitz safety polices to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks.Up to date knowledge of requirements for necessary equipment and training per job.
