Job Title: Inbound Sales Representative
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000-$65,000
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain individual goals and objectives as provided on a quarterly basis
- Assist customers with appropriate product selection and take sales orders
- Guide customers through the website and order process effectively
- Process quotes, sales orders, and returns accurately and efficiently
- Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity
- Maintain current knowledge of lighting, patio and home decor products to help customers make their selection
- Build rapport with customers by greeting them in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using procedures learned during new-hire training
- Ensure that customers understand product information and provide additional information to customers as needed
- Handle phone-in customers with pleasant telephone etiquette and courtesy
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Customer service and call center experience preferred
- Clear understanding of sales and customer service principles
- A strong grasp of Internet navigation
- Ability to multi-task in multiple electronic media
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work weekend and overtime schedules, which may include various holidays
Skills and Traits:
- Efficient use of internal email and other communication systems to keep current in job knowledge and department directives
- Staying informed with changes in company business policies or practices
- Urgency to ensure a resolution for customer problems or internal items that need follow up
- Make solid effort to score well on product and customer service training
- Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
