Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) at Argus Home Healthcare

Position: ILSTPosition SummaryIndependent Living Skills Trainers develop services designed and directed at the development and maintenance of the program participants ability to independently sustain themself physically emotionally and economically in the community.  This position helps people who need help to learn physical mental social or financial skills due to a brain injury.Responsibilities:Perform other related duties as needed.Assist clients with independent living tasks such as self-care medication supervision task completion sensory motor skill building mobility socialization benefits/resource coordination and household management.Maintain client care plan.Attend required meetings and trainings.Maintain confidentiality at all times.Comply with all laws regulations and standards.Qualifications : Bachelors degree 1 year experience with individuals with disabilities ORAssociate degree in social services/human relations 2 years experience OREnrollment in a related degree program 3 years similar experience OR4 years direct care experience with brain injury or cognitive disability in home hospital or rehab settingsSpecial Requirements:Access to a reliable automobileValid Drivers License & clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Proof of personal vehicle insurance with 100000/300000 liability limits on the vehicle driven for workAdditional Information : Benefits:PAID training!Flexible scheduleWork - Life balance no overnight services401kPay: $24.00 per hourPosition starts part time and build up to full time (if desired)Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Part-time Key Skills Evaluation,Marketing & Operations,Audio Visual,Java,Arbitration Experience: years Vacancy: 1
