We're looking for mission-driven leaders who share these values, and we need your help as we transform access to high-quality mental health care in the United States and beyond.The Role:We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Therapist to support our mission in democratizing access to high-quality mental health care! Cerebral takes a holistic and comprehensive approach when providing care for our patients. Our telemedicine therapists collaborate with prescribers as needed, to support clients during their mental health journey. This therapist role provides direct care for a panel of clients and allows for flexibility when client sessions can be scheduled. You can see clients during traditional business hours, evenings, or on weekends.This position is a 1099 independent contract role. Who you are:Independently Licensed Therapist in the United States for any of the following license structures: Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social WorkYou are licensed and in good standing in at least one state; multiple states licenses preferredMaster's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or equivalentExperience in diagnosing mental health disorders in accordance with the DSM-5 criteriaMaintain a strong evidence-based clinical skill set while practicing & implementing outcome-focused careEmpathetic and intuitive listeningStrong verbal and written communicationKnowledgeable in crisis responseComfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environmentTech-savvy with the ability to navigate various systems & tools with ease (this includes, but is not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, proprietary EMR, etc.)Passionate about our mission of improving access to high-quality mental health careAn entrepreneurial spirit or previous experience within a startup or fast-paced environment is preferredHow your skills and passion will come to life at Cerebral:Conduct therapeutically sound sessions with clients weekly or bi-weekly for 45 minutes (cadence dependent on the client's plan)Provide anywhere from 15-40 hours of weekly availabilityCreate your own flexible schedule based on your individual availability!
