Indirect Tax Accountant at DPR

Job DescriptionDPR Construction is looking for an Indirect Tax Accountant with 4 years of experience who wants to be a part of a great team. This position has plenty of opportunities to expand skills & knowledge to grow professionally and to contribute to the growth of a fantastic company. This is a full-time role with a hybrid office schedule that will be based out of our Sacramento office.Roles and Responsibilities:Prepare and review Sales & Use and Business Personal Property tax returnsConduct complex tax research to support compliance and planning initiativesReconcile tax liability accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reportingHandle external and internal sales tax audits for company projectsResolve tax notices in a timely and accurate mannerStreamline and automate tax processes to improve efficiencyCollaborate with the Tax Team and other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax complianceWe are looking for a flexible detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will have:Requirements:Minimum of four years of Sales & Use Tax experienceBachelors degree in accountingProficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially ExcelStrong communication skills both oral and writtenAbility to perform complex tax researchAbility to manage multiple tasks produce quality work and consistently meet deadlinesStrong work ethic and a can-do anything attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesire to grow and take on new challengesPreferred Experience:Construction industry experienceKnowledge of Texas Sales & Use TaxExperience using AlteryxCPA certificationMasters degree in TaxAnticipated starting pay range:$90000.00- $110000.00Nothing is more important than your health and wellness.
