Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Blaster Painter to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing surfaces for painting and applying coatings industrial concrete or metal structures. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and removing existing coatings as needed.Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants from surfaces.Mix and apply paint, primers, and other coatings according to specifications.Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to safety standards.Maintain and clean equipment and work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in painting or blasting is a plus.Proven experience as an industrial blaster painter or similar role.Familiarity with various blasting and painting techniques and equipment.Experience working at heights.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting.Optional BenefitsHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceOptical Insurance401k planReferral Program
