This position involves routine cleaning floor care and upkeep of building interiors and exteriors to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesSweep mop vacuum and scrub floors to maintain cleanliness and appearance.Operate floor scrubber machines (if trained and experienced).Shampoo carpets using appropriate equipment (if trained and experienced).Strip wax and refinish floors (if trained and experienced).Clean walls vents screens furniture drinking fountains light fixtures window blinds brass and other interior surfaces.Wash interior and exterior windows mirrors and glass doors.Empty and clean trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.Sweep entryways empty exterior cigarette urns and remove trash from areas immediately outside building entrances as needed.Clean and sanitize restrooms sinks toilets and restock supplies (e.g. paper products soap etc.).Maintain and organize custodial closets and ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies.Follow all prescribed safety procedures and promptly report any potential hazards unsafe conditions or maintenance needs to management.Perform other duties as assigned.Physical RequirementsMust be able to:Lift up to 25 poundsPush and pull cleaning equipment and cartsStand for prolonged periods of timeWalk for up to 8 hours per dayBend stoop and kneel frequentlyThe Production Floor Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety across large production areas by operating ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbers sweepers and other cleaning equipment. This position includes performing daily equipment checks routine maintenance and general cleaning duties to ensure a clean safe and efficient work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Operation: Safely operate industrial cleaning equipment including ride-on and walk-behind scrubbers and sweepers to clean large floor areas.Pre-Operation Checks: Inspect and service cleaning equipment before each usecheck battery levels brushes squeegees filters and solution tanks for proper operation.Post-Operation Maintenance: Drain rinse and clean recovery and solution tanks after each use; remove and clean vacuum fan filters.Floor Care: Perform general floor cleaning tasks such as sweeping dusting and mopping as needed.Equipment Maintenance: Conduct basic maintenance and promptly report malfunctions or needed repairs to management.Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety operational and chemical handling procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Facility Cleaning: Clean and maintain building areas assigned to support overall facility hygiene.Communication: Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with clients co-workers shift coordinators supervisors and managers.Reporting: Notify management of any maintenance issues safety concerns or necessary repairs to facility systems or cleaning equipment.Additional Duties: Perform other cleaning or maintenance-related tasks as assigned.Skills and QualificationsProven ability to safely operate industrial floor-cleaning equipment (ride-on scrubbers sweepers buffers etc.).Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Understanding safety procedures and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).GlassesShoesHi-Vis attireINDSJ Key Skills Bidding,IT Network,ABB,Export Sales,JDE,Event Marketing Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
