Electrician opportunity in Chicago, IL on the northwest side at a specialized custom commercial automated equipment manufacturer.
Electrician - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electric and electronic problems
- Plan, layout, wire and install, equipment such as control panels, control circuits, relays, circuit breakers, disconnects valves and motors
- Wire or layout the wiring of complex circuits with a large number of connections
- Install small power transformers, relays and other apparatuses
- Conduct general housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of area and electrical cabinets
- Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner, wear proper personal protective equipment
- Determine and use all available and/or necessary measuring devices and tools
- Read prints, drawings, and schematics
Electrician - Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of wiring INDUSTRIAL machinery is a must have.
- 1 years+ experience of electrician experience in an industrial setting.
Other Details:
- Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, weekend work possible
