Industrial Electrician at Professional Employment Group of Colorado

Electrician - Denver, CO

Pay: $30-$36/hr Onsite - Office & Shop Environment

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble, install, test, and troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems, control circuits, and electrical modules for electrical panels. Strong electrical knowledge, the ability to interpret schematics, and a focus on safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble wiring harnesses, connectors, sub-assemblies, and control modules
• Conduct component, subassembly, and full-system electrical testing
• Read and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend solutions
• Operate safely around live voltages in compliance with OSHA standards

Qualifications:

• Current 2nd-4th year Electrical Apprentice
• HS Diploma or GED required; Associates/technical degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC control circuits and electrical/electronic schematics
• Experience with electrical testing (continuity, insulation resistance, functional testing)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Team-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing project needs

Physical Requirements:

• Work performed in both office and shop environments
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
• Routine use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
