Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Install repair and replace electrical wiring conduits fixtures and control devices. Interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety regulations and company policies. Work with PLCs VFDs and other industrial control systems for programming and fault finding. Conduct equipment testing and calibration to ensure optimal performance. Recommended Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification. Proven experience troubleshooting repairing and maintaining industrial electrical systems (up to 480V). Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control circuits. Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety standards (e.g. Lockout/Tagout). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and wiring diagrams. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet). Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software. Basic mechanical aptitude with an understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic system electrical controls. Certifications in specific automation platforms (e.g. Rockwell Studio 5000 Siemens TIA Portal). Experience with vision systems or robotics electrical integration.
