Apply industrial engineering concepts approaches and techniques to products processes and services. Develop plant and equipment layouts capacity plans accident-prevention measures and workflow sequencing. Design maintain and optimize production systems integrating design supply base facilities equipment and personnel. Conduct workflow analysis and develop models databases and spreadsheets for data analysis and metrics tracking. Research design and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance reduce costs and improve quality. Support execution planning utilizing project management scheduling and shop load practices. Provide support in production supply chain logistics performance visibility and recovery planning. Ensure compliance with industry safety design and ergonomic standards. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (Bachelors or Masters) in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry. Experience in Industrial Engineering or similar (Production/Manufacturing Engineering). Typically 3 years of related experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with low-volume assembly on large-scale platforms (rotorcraft military aircraft etc.). Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience. Experience with Discrete Event Simulation Software (Simio ProModel). Experience with Constraint-Based Scheduling Software (Aurora MS Project). Job scheduling and sequencing experience. Proficiency with NX/Unigraphics or other 3D CAD tools. Experience with APQP and PFMEA. Familiarity with Teamcenter tools (PDM Process Simulate Manufacturing Process Planner). ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
