You will travel to different locations collect samples run tests and write reports to help keep buildings safe.Main DutiesVisit homes and businesses across Nevada to collect samples for asbestos mold and lead testing.Use proper tools and follow safety rules to gather samples.Test samples on-site using lab equipment.Inspect buildings to check for asbestos mold or lead.Record your findings and keep clear notes.Analyze results and decide if there are any hazards.Write simple reports for clients with your findings and suggestions.Work with restoration companies contractors and insurance companies.Keep up to date with safety rules and regulations.Take care of lab tools and equipment.Help keep track of supplies.Take part in training to improve your skills.RequirementsBachelors degree in science (like environmental science chemistry or biology) is preferred.Certifications in asbestos mold or lead testing are a plus.Experience testing for asbestos mold or lead is helpful.Must pay attention to detail and follow instructions.Good at solving problems and understanding test results.Strong written and spoken communication skills.Able to work alone manage your time and travel regularly.Must be committed to safety.Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
