WCJ Pilgrim Wire is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics & Maintenance Professionals to join our growing team!WCJ Pilgrim Wire is expanding our Maintenance Department and is hiring hourly maintenance personnel as well as adding additional maintenance management capacity to support continued growth. We have multiple openings and are seeking both skilled hands-on maintenance professionals and experienced candidates who can help strengthen our maintenance systems, improve efficiency, and support a more professionalized department.Qualified applicants with mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in industrial or general maintenance environments are encouraged to apply. Depending on your background, interests, and leadership experience, you may be considered for more than one role.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical school or trade training preferred3+ years industrial or general maintenance experience preferred (more for management consideration)Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityElectrical experience is a plus (controls, motors, basic industrial electrical), but not required for all rolesComfortable working in an industrial environment and following safety standardsStrong communication skills and ability to work with operators, supervisors, and contractorsMust be hands-on and able to work on-site (this is not a remote role)Responsibilities:Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and plant systemsDiagnose and resolve mechanical issues (bearings, gearboxes, chains/sprockets, pneumatics/hydraulics, alignment, fabrication, etc.)Support electrical/mechanical repairs as applicable (motors, sensors, basic controls, wiring troubleshootingdepending on skillset)Assist with installation, commissioning, and improvement of new equipment and ongoing facility projectsWork effectively with production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliabilityCoordinate with and support outside contractors when neededMaintain maintenance documentation, PM checklists, and communicate repair status clearlyFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaMaintenance management track (for experienced applicants):Help build and improve preventative maintenance systems, planning, and documentationSupport department organization, prioritization, and coordination across shiftsDrive reliability improvements and help internalize more maintenance workAssist with project planning/execution involving internal teams and external contractorsRemain hands-on while supporting stronger systems and accountabilityMust be:Reliable, dependable, and safety-mindedA team player with a positive attitudeSelf-motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks and projectsCompetitive Pay + Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time off (PTO)401(k) / Retirement planEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)
