JOB DETAILSShift: 3rd Shift DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDiagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipmentPerform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustmentsRepair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating conditionAdvanced understanding of electrical principles such as voltage current and resistance Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits field devices sensors photo eyes etc.Advanced understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drivesTroubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls new equipment and relocate machinesMaintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other componentsPerform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructionsEnter all work completed in computer-based maintenance programMonitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order formsAdjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QATrain all levels of technicians in more complex tasks and skillsResponsible for direct reports activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications : Associates degree in related field or equivalent relative experience7-10 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of and experience with Lock-Out Tag-Out proceduresAble to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.  Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.Proficient in Word Excel and CMMS systemsMust be willing to attend training sessions as needed including out of state locationsAbility to train all levels of Technicians AIntermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding basic machining)Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshootingAble to read printed materials blueprints schematics and computer graphicsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees vendors contractors and suppliersAbility to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environmentAdditional Information : Site Location: 1780 Westfork Dr. Lithia Springs GA 30122 Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live work and play.
