This position will be based in the St. Petersburg/Tampa region of Florida and requires travel to various sites for repairs and maintenance. Position Summary:The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of car wash equipment and systems. This role involves conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and performing repairs to minimize equipment downtime. The Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-friendly wash experience.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on car wash equipment, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and control systemsLiaison Car Wash Start-Up Activities between Development & Construction to OperationsThe ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues\Assistance in increasing car wash location uptime and decrease of car wash downtime through various operational & mechanical facetsRead and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals in needed capacityMaintain a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce equipment downtimeReplace and repair defective parts, using appropriate tools and equipmentInstall and wire new electrical componentsTest and calibrate equipment to meet operational and safety standardsMaintain an accurate inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipmentOrder replacement parts as needed to support continuous operationsMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repair logsReport recurring issues to management and propose long-term solutions, including necessary updates or replacementsComply with all OSHA regulations, safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE requirements at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanics, electronics, or a related field preferred2+ years of maintenance experienceValid driver’s license requiredStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentAbility to lift 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, and climb and work from laddersAbility to travel up to 75% of the timeKnowledge of car wash operations preferredKnowledge in various car wash equipment manufacturesBenefits: Competitive PayPaid Time OffHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K MatchParental LeaveWhy Join Links Car Wash?At Links Car Wash, you’ll join a team dedicated to revolutionizing the car wash industry.
