Industrial Painter General Laborer at LEGACY BUILDING SOLUTIONS LLC

At Legacy Building Solutions we provide building solutions for more than a dozen industries and within a variety of applications including military, states/municipalities, agricultural buildings, equine riding arenas, aviation facilities, and sports complexes. Our manufacturing headquarters is located in South Haven, MN. We are growing and in need of a full-time experienced industrial painter to job our team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Efficient with painting equipment and procedures to meet company standardsExperience with forklifts, overhead cranes and power tools common to the welding tradeIdeally have some knowledge in weldingResponsible to maintain paperwork organized and keep up to dateOrganized and detail orientedCommunicate job progress to supervisor as neededCleans work area, machines, tools and equipmentLayout, position, align and secure parts prior to paintingOperates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his/her job functionAble to read a tape measureResponsible for following quality standards and inspects parts for quality before and after paintingPerform other duties as assigned including the ability to cross train in other areas of the plant

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Must be willing to operate a forklift in safe and efficient with the ability to obtain a certificationRespirator certified and able to pass respirator certification test annuallyPositive attitude and desire to work as a team playerAbility to cross train in other areas of the plant/businessExcellent communication skillsPrevious history of consistent attendance with the ability to be to work on time on daily basisWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Work in extreme cold and heat; and/or wet and humid conditionsFollow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
