Industrial Piping Fitter/Welder IMMEC Inc is looking for a skilled Industrial Pipe Fitter/Welders to complete complex industrial mechanical and process piping projects. You will provide piping services to a variety of industrial clients. The successful candidate must have a knowledge of mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety best practices. - Welding
- Metal Fabrication
- Pipe fitting and joining
- Operation of shop equipment
- Print reading
- Safety focused
- Fabrication and Installation of process piping systems
- Fabrication Installation of mechanical piping systems
- Safety focused for self and entire job site
- Monitors the welding and fitting process to ensure compliance with industry best practices
- Maintains and organizes, tools, equipment and the overall work site
- Maintains job quality and ensures schedule compliance
- SMAW welding and field fabrication skills. TIG, GMAW and FCAW a plus
- Rigging and signal person a plus
- Industrial maintenance and repair
- Operate aerial man lifts and powered fork truck lifts.
- Emergency repairs
- Safety oriented
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Able to commute to various job sites
- Plans pipe routes
- Fabricates pipe hangers
- Cuts welds and fabricate piping per project design
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) to take accurate measurements
- Critical Thinking
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
- Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery and parts
- Read diagrams, schematics and service manuals
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Planning and problem solving
- Able to obtain OSHA 30 Certification
