Industrial Welder at HANCO LTD

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with hand tools and machinery. The Welder will ensure that all work meets industry codes and standards, contributing to the overall quality of our products.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• GMAW on alloy steels performing overlay and buildup work.
• Utilize various welding techniques: MIG, TIG, stick, carbon arc, braze, etc. as required.
• Ability to obtain good fusion line on shafts not being undercut prior to welding.
• Weld in both a fixed position and on shafts rotating in chucks/positioners.
• Light fabrication
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• 2 years+ work experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
• Ability to operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely.
• Proficient in using hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Has weld certificates.
• Potential pay raise if employee passes a D14.1 weld cert. test after hire.

Job Type: Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F

Pay Range: $23 - $28 / hour depending on experience

Experience:

• Machining Experience: 4 years minimum
