The ideal candidate has a passion for supporting the earliest stages of development and understands how critical relationships routines and responsive caregiving are during infancy.ResponsibilitiesLead the infant classroom with gentleness structure and attentiveness.Implement age-appropriate activities focused on sensory exploration communication bonding and motor development.Provide responsive consistent care including feeding diapering soothing and individualized routines.Create and maintain a safe nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and updates.Collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure smooth transitions and classroom consistency.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all New York State and center policies.QualificationsBA or AA in Early Childhood Education CDA or 5 years of professional experience with infants/toddlers plus a high school diploma.Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants or young children preferred.Strong understanding of early childhood development and responsive caregiving.Must meet all New York State childcare licensing requirements.CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay: $22$25Health dental and vision insurance401K planPaid time off (PTO)Employee childcare discountOngoing professional development and career growth opportunitiesApply TodayIf you are a nurturing dedicated educator who loves supporting infants during their most important developmental year apply today to join The Learning Experience Hells Kitchen.
