Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryBright Sprouts Learning is a brand new school serving infants and toddlers in Aurora, CO!We are currently interviewing for a CO State qualified Infant Room Supervisor who passionately aligns with our mission and vision of supporting children, teachers, and families with whole-system, whole-person programming.Statement of Philosophy: Bright Sprouts Learning is a holistically driven center focused on the well-being of working families, early childhood educators, and the early childhood journey.Statement of Curriculum: Using a Learning Stories approach our early childhood teachers facilitate Emergent Curriculum through documentation, research, reflection and planning.DutiesSupervise all infant room staff ensuring consistent adherence to licensing and health standards.Develop individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.Maintain Learning Story documentation using written story, photography, media, and student artifacts.Advocate for center policies and procedures.Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and the safety and security of children.Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.Maintain a personal professional development plan.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.A current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher, as defined by the Colorado Department of Early ChildhoodStrong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.A strong understanding of child development.Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Must clear a full background check and must pass a health screening.Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls, and talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat, or crawl and lift 25 lbs.Nice To HavesAssociate’s Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.Reggio Emelia backgroundBenefitsHoliday payPTO
