Infection PreventionistLogan Health Conrad Conrad MontanaYou will guide infection prevention for Logan Health Conrad which includes a critical access hospital and long term care. This role supports safe care for patients and staff through practical epidemiology steady decision making and strong collaboration. You will also support employee health and occupational health functions tied to infection prevention.

What you will doPartner with medical leadership on infection prevention goals and action plans.Review and update infection prevention plans and policies.Lead or support the Infection Prevention Committee.Track federal state and local regulations and advise leaders on changes.Support infection prevention epidemiology hygiene employee health and occupational health programs.Complete clinical evaluations based on department protocols.Direct surveillance and required reporting for healthcare and community infections.Promote compliance with infection control OSHA and safety standards.Participate in quality improvement projects and required CDC reporting.Provide focused education during outbreaks or compliance concerns.Train new employees and provide ongoing education across the facility.Serve as a resource for staff providers and the community.What you bringBachelors degree in nursing public health epidemiology clinical laboratory science medical technology or a related field required.Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred or completed within two years of hire.Three years of infection control experience preferred.Strong computer skills required.Ability to interpret and apply infection prevention policies required.Familiarity with CMS Infection Prevention standards preferred.Strong organization critical thinking and communication skills required.Why Logan Health ConradYou will work in a close community setting where your expertise influences care across a hospital and long term care environment.
