This position is eligible for a $10000 sign on bonus. The selected candidate must beflexible in scheduling to meet training requirements for a 24/7 facility with various shifts. May serve as a Charge Nurse for On-Call rotation.Job DutiesResponsible for the development implementation supervision and delivery of all infection surveillance prevention and control.Updates infection control program including antibiotic stewardship and risk assessment and goals annually and as needed. Maintains infection control compliance and delivers all required training for infection control in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Reviews and assists facility with implementation of updated guidelines from the CDC state and federal regulations. Minimum QualificationsLicensed as an RN in the state of VirginiaCIC Certification or ability to attain it within 12 months of hire.Relevant clinical experienceWorking knowledge of the theory of practice of epidemiologic principles and infectious diseases.Experience supervising and evaluating patient care and staff performanceIntermediate computer skillsAdditional ConsiderationsExperience working in a long term care facilityPrior experience in Infection ControlSpecial InstructionsYou will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or résumé is submitted successfully.
